Retired as an FBI Supervisory Special Agent after over two and half decades of operational, leadership, and academic experience in counterterrorism, crisis management, and national security arenas.
From October 2023 to July 2024, in coordination with Israeli and U.S. partners, led FBI wartime efforts to seek the release/return of over 250 innocent hostages held by Hamas terrorists.
Served in two overseas posts – U.S. Embassy London and U.S. Embassy Jerusalem (Tel Aviv Branch Office).
During his career, David received almost two dozen awards and commendations, including the Attorney General’s Award, the FBI Director’s award, the State Department Superior Honor Award, New Scotland Yard SO15 Commander’s Commendation, the FBI Medal of Excellence, the Director of National Intelligence’s (DNI) Mission Integration Unit Citation, and the DNI’s National Intelligence Meritorious Unit Citation.
